KING S1 v5.21 · Statistical Gold Pin-Catch Scalper (5 account licences)

KING S1 is a fully automated system that trades XAUUSD only. The core signal is a 3-sigma dip against a 30-minute rolling window. When price breaks below the band the EA places a buy stop that trails down with the market, and that order fills only once price turns back up through the confirmation offset. The entry therefore avoids catching a falling knife without waiting for a bar to close.

The exit is a profit floor that only ever moves up. Once a position is far enough ahead to cover its own cost, the stop is lifted above entry and ratchets with price, so from that point the trade cannot settle negative. The first layer and the deeper layers use different floor heights.

No martingale on entry. Deeper layers are independent signals, not fixed-multiple averaging. The EA never places a stop loss and never force-closes a position.

What changed in v5.21

Four auxiliary books now run alongside the core and share its equity ladder. The previous build was core only. The auxiliary books earn at moments when the core is not in its own holes, which is why all three modes improved and two of them improved on both axes at once.

• Switch the four books off and re-run the same period with nothing else changed: net profit falls 60.9% and relative drawdown rises 19.3 percentage points
• Sizing them from the core equity ladder instead of a fixed lot: net profit up another 16.1%, with both drawdown measures falling
• The Aggressive lot ladder now caps at 30 units instead of 10. Across a 15/20/25/30/40 sweep the relative drawdown was flat all the way to 30 and only broke at 40, so 30 is the last step the ceiling buys for free
• The inputs grid went from 18 entries to 15. The three switches that were removed are locked at the values the previous build shipped with, so behaviour is unchanged and an old .set still loads

Free upgrade, and your key still works. v5.21 uses the same account-bound licensing as v5.1. Download the new package from "My Orders" and keep the key you already have.

Measured comparison

Six arms (three modes x two versions) in one batch on one day over one stretch of market: real Tickmill spreads, XAUUSD M1, 2025-01-02 to 2026-09-04, $1,000 start, drawdown stop off. The v5.17 arm is the build that preceded v5.21.

Standard is the cleanest of the three. Net profit more than doubled while relative drawdown fell by 15.3 percentage points and the profit factor went from 3.60 to 6.31.

Aggressive is the only mode that pays drawdown for return: 3.48 more percentage points of relative drawdown for 212% more net profit. Its maximum drawdown is actually 0.28 points lower, because the two figures point at different days. Relative drawdown takes the largest percentage fall, which happens while the account is still small. Maximum drawdown takes the largest dollar fall, which happens after the account has grown.

How it works

• Volatility-referenced entry: a 30-minute rolling window re-estimates the mean and standard deviation of price continuously, and an entry is only armed when price stretches to a deep multiple of that live deviation
• Bounce confirmation: instead of a limit order at the extreme, a buy stop trails down with the dip and fills only after price has actually turned up
• Seller-day VWAP guard: first entries stand aside after a session that closed well below its own VWAP
• Layered harvest ladder: when a position is trapped by a deeper extension, a small controlled ladder captures the bounce, each layer with its own trend and spacing filters
• Four auxiliary books: sized from the same equity ladder as the core, each with its own order tags and closing logic, earning on a different clock from the core
• Profit-gated grid compression: once the month's realised cushion is built, the engine narrows its grid spacing and turns chop into a smoother curve
• Runner-gate exit: at the old take-profit level the position locks that profit as a floor, banks half the volume at market and trails the rest
• Cold-start gate: in the compounding modes the book is held to one ticket below $1,150 of equity and two below $1,400, so a small account does not spread out

Design rule: a position never carries a losing stop. The only stop ever placed is the profit floor, which sits at or above the old take-profit. Risk control is halting new entries plus the bear kill-switch, not cutting into an open loss.

Choosing a mode

• Aggressive (default): the lot ladder adds one unit per 0.8x of base capital gained, capped at 30 units. Highest return, largest drawdown
• Standard: one unit per 1.6x of base capital, capped at 6. In the table above it is lower than Aggressive on both drawdown measures
• Flat: fixed lot, no compounding. Use it to see the shape of the strategy itself, or to run a small account for a while first

The input panel has 15 entries: broker settings (spread, commission, server time zone, leverage), capital, the risk mode and one field for your licence key. The strategy geometry is fixed at its measured values and is not exposed. Standard and Flat ship as ready-made presets; Aggressive is the shipped state.

Three things you should know

• The backtest window is one sustained rally. Gold went from 2,626 to 4,388 over these 20 months. This engine is not fragile to gaps. It is fragile to a market that stops bouncing
• Positions were still open when the test ended. Every mode had two core legs force-closed at the final bar, and those marks are already inside the net profit above: -$12,096 on Aggressive, -$2,419 on Standard, -$403 on Flat. Part of the headline is unrealised, not banked
• Never using a stop loss means drawdown is set by the market, not by a parameter. That is a design choice: no single trade is cut, and the account recovers through winning trades and net-positive basket closes. The cost is that a position can be held for a long time. Pick a mode by the drawdown you can sit through, not by the return

Deposit size is not neutral either. Only Flat scales linearly with the account; the compounding ladders step in proportion to base capital, so gains and excursions grow together. Every published figure starts from $1,000, and on a materially larger deposit you can set BaseCapitalUsd to 1000 to keep $1,000-equivalent sizing on a bigger account. Past performance does not guarantee future results; backtest it on your own broker's data before going live.

Licensing: one purchase = 5 MT5 accounts

• After payment, open "My Licences", enter an MT5 account number and the key for that account is issued instantly, with no manual step
• Use the 5 slots whenever you like, one at a time. Keys are bound to an account number, are permanent and never expire
• Submitting the same account again returns the same key and does not consume another slot
• Buy again for another 5 slots. Backtesting and optimisation need no key at all
• Without a key the EA still loads, still draws its panel and still manages open positions. Only new entries are blocked, so an unlicensed copy never leaves your live positions unattended

• Minimum deposit $1,000. On a compounding mode with a materially larger deposit, read the BaseCapitalUsd note above first
• Leverage 1:500 or higher (required) · low-spread / raw / ECN gold with fast execution · VPS recommended
• After attaching, set CommissionPerLotUsd to your broker's round-trip rate per lot, or the exit targets will be off

On leverage: the strategy is calibrated at 1:500. Below that the EA shrinks its lots pro rata to keep the margin footprint identical, and returns shrink with them. Use 1:500 or higher to reproduce the published figures.
